Elmo got hit with a stick

Jacki just woke up and came in and told me that Elmo is hurt. Elmo is her big stuffed red animal. I went in with her to see what was wrong. She said that someone hit him with a stick. (We had watched Anne of Avonlea recently, and one of the students "was administered the strap.") I had to try so hard to not laugh as we examined Elmo.
