I wanted to start going on family outings on Saturdays and decided to start with a hike a couple of weeks ago. We went up the nature center trail in North Ogden. Someone coming down warned us that he had seen a snake. Jacki was afraid to walk after he said that. Wes got tired of walking, even with his leash, Ty ended up carrying him on his shoulders, and he was fine with doing that until Wes pooped, and it stunk. It was pretty warm since it was 12 by the time we got out, but it was "fun family time," to quote from the Berenstain Bears. Next time we may try biking. The kids are not quite ready for hiking.
