Ordinary miracles

So, the other day I forgot to say that Wes flushed their toothbrushes down the toilet. That wasn't the first time, but I've been trying to pay attention to those blessings and ordinary miracles that we have that I don't notice until they are gone, like the car running, indoor plumbing, and vacuums, especially carpet cleaners that clean up 80 oz. of bubble solution. I'm really glad Ty didn't have to take apart the toilet this time too. (He had to do that a couple of weeks ago when Wes plugged up the toilet.) I can't help but share all these crazy stories about my kids, but really they are the biggest miracles of all in my life and teach me all the time!

  1. Nat, just want you to know, that I LOVE to read your blog-because it reminds me of raising four crazy boys and a very busy and in charge little girl--Also of all the fun times your Mom and I had trading babysitting and going places together when we only had 3 kids each-it got pretty crazy after that and we didn't get to do as much together. But those are some of my most favorite memories--so I am thankful that as a Mommy, you get to have some of those same little daily blessings in your life! You are such a GREAT Mommy and I hope you realize that! I remember feeling overwhelmed and very far from being a good parent-let alone a PERFECT parent-but the Lord taught me so much at that time. All of those little ups and downs do come with great rewards. Eternal rewards! Love you-have a good--well, better day!!! lol
