February 2013

Wood Badge Beading ceremony Feb 2, 2013:  Almost 2 years ago Ty attended Wood Badge scout training and made 4 goals called tickets.  Each "ticket" covered a different area of his life, and he completed all of them along with his fellow Bears.  This was an awesome achievement, and we loved supporting our Daddy Bear.  He rocks!!

Every family brought a dessert to Wood Badge.  Jackie loved the peanut and chocolate bars.  She ate four!  All the kids were wired and running around the church after eating all that sugar.
Chloe has her two front bottom teeth and is crawling everywhere.  She pulls herself up with the side of the crib and gets stuck there.  She has a bruise on her forehead from banging it into the door.

This shamrock outfit of is one of our favorites because it has a big shamrock on Chloe's butt.  She didn't want to hold still for dad to take the picture, and of course the boys had to have their pictures taken since Chloe was getting hers taken.
One of his expressions usually followed by "nothing."

Chloe is probably talking to us in this photo!

We got to go to school and see Jackie's recycle project.
Yesterday we went to Jacki's museum at school.  The had to make something out of old items at home.  The most popular thing to make was robots.  90% of the projects were robots.  Ty and I suggested she make a purse out of a Caprisun packet, but she wanted to make a phone out of cans, and she was excited to do it.  We went and saw her.  She got marker on her hands and face so I told her to go to the bathroom and wash it off.  She replied that she couldn't leave her display.  I assured her that it would be OK while we were gone.

Crazy parking on a snowy day.

Enjoying the snow
Jackster turned 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We went to her favorite place.....Pizza Pie Cafe.  She would go here way more often if we let her.
She's excited about her 1st Easy Bake oven.

This will be fun.  Andi wants it too.
We are so glad to have cousins here for the party  Hey Jude!
After Pizza Pie Cafe, we went to Toads Fun Zone for Arcade and Miniature Golf!!

Jackie loves this place.

Tommy had fun chasing golf balls around

GAME time!

Cake time!
Jackie made a cute invitation to her party and on it mom had written, " don't feel like you need to bring a gift, but if you really want to, bring a small one from Doller Tree; she likes toys from there as well as from anywhere".   Jackie gave Lauren a special one to give to Grandma on which she'd crossed out "small" and put "big", and crossed out "Dollar Tree " and put "Target". What a hoot! Pretty darn smart, Jackie!! 7 going on 17!

We ordered a lot of cupcakes so Jackie could give one to everyone in blue class and red class.

selfie- none of the kids can take pictures of me yet.

The Gibson Family got here just in time to celebrate Meg & Aaron's birthdays.  It was a big 30 for Meg, and we celebrated by eating a lot of pizza at the Pizzeria.  We had an entire room to ourselves.

Wes had fun sliding on his bottom.

Hey!

We got to visit Grandma.  The pictures are terrible, but we want to remember the visit.
Chloe won't remember much because she was tired.

Boys are chilling while we wait for pizza.
Chloe didn't like waiting for pizza

Chaos at the Pizzeria
Reclining in her position

Snow piled up at the church higher than the kids could reach.

Kids played in the background.  Mom took this funny pic of Wes putting his face in the snow.
These boys loooove the snow- good thing because we had plenty of it.
Of course we had to go sledding at Wadman park since Gibsons haven't seen this much snow in a while.  We had some mismatched gear, which Tommi and Zach are showing off.  Tom could only find one of his brand new boots and Zach had mismatched gloves.  Jacki figured out that she didn't need a sled but could use her bottom or her belly.  She went down the hill like a penguin.

Lovin to read chapter books
nap time
We spend a lot of time in the car dropping kids off and picking them up.  Sometimes it's easier to just stay in the car and read or play games rather than unloading and loading everyone back up.

Jackie took this picture at our favorite ice cream shop "Kirts"

Happy VALENTINES DAY!!!!! (Craven style)
New toothbrushes for Valentines Day from your practical mom.

This "Mini" triathlon at the Clearfield aquatic center was enough challenge for me.  These girls are inspiring.

Happy Valentines Day with Valentines plates that Sharon West gave me which were leftovers at the store where she works.  We enjoyed our Valentines Meal.

More February Stories

  • Tommi opened the spider man book yesterday and started reciting the "Dinosaur, dinosaur" book.  I love it when they memorize books and pretend like they are reading.
  • Chloe tried to eat a screw a couple of times.  Ty said his co-worker's boy is in Primary Children's hospital from eating a bobby pin.
  • Ty is busy at work and is going to be taking on more responsibilities.
  • Chloe likes to trick me and then grab my hair when I'm not suspecting.  She likes to play games with her dad.  She loves peek a boo.
  • Jackie is so smart.  I have to be really consistent with her or she will catch it.
  • We eat breakfast for dinner every Sunday, and the kids love it.
