November went by so very fast. Most of the months do, but November really did. We continued our Utah adventures. Although these aren't state parks, they are fun sights and are close, so we had a Saturday adventure at the Chinese Arch, Promontory Point, and Spiral Jetty. I bribed the kids with fruit snacks so that they would all look at the camera and smile. We got a good picture out of it!!!

We got to go to BEAR LAKE for Thanksgiving! Ty and I used to do this before the kids came along. Now, we usually go after the big dinner, but Ty's parents are on a mission, and my family had Thanksgiving in Arizona with Meg to welcome Baby Gabe into the world. So, we headed to the cabin. In ten years of cabin trips, we have never gotten a picture of the welcome to Utah sign, so we got one (and they kids got muddy in the process. I think kids are attracted to mud like magnets.) Tyson made a cork board frame of a map of Utah and we're going to put pictures of our Utah adventures all around the map and mark the places we've gone.

The cabin is actually in Idaho (barely), and I told the kids we were
going to get a picture of the "Welcome to Utah sign." Jackie said, "We have to drive
clear to Utah." The kids didn't know we were in Idaho and thought that
Utah was home, so I clarified that it was less than a mile to get clear to Utah.
On one of our day trips from our Cabin Base camp, we went into Montpelier, ID. We had never been
through this Oregon Trail Museum. It had a playground outside, and we
had a lot of fun.

HYRUM STATE PARK ADVENTURE
Ty and I haven't ever been here even though we've lived in Utah our whole lives. The Reservoir was bigger than Ty thought it would be. It was chilly, but we had a nice picnic.

Tommy loves Preschool and asks me everyday, "Do I go to school today?" Joyschool is Tuesdays and Thursdays, and he can't ever remember. Plus, he wants to go every day. I'm so grateful to the other moms for doing this with me. They are doing an incredible job. I get to teach at the end of the school year.
