Cravin' Life: May 2013

The wedding of our soul sista friend Lindsy on May 17, 2013 to Jeff Sampson was incredible. We're so glad we got to be there and Rachie flew in for it---such a great day!

We planted flowers. Chloe helped me plant them, and she likes to pretend she's weeding with a plastic shovel that she has. She loves when daddy comes home and says, "hi da" while waving.

She was fascinated with the flowers. Who needs toys when you can have flowers? She looked at them, touched them, and interacted with them.

I've been training for a marathon relay- my neighbor friends and I ran it as "hot mommas rockin' their 30s." It was my 3 mile marathon and was wet. I loved my "leg of the race" because I didn't have to get there super early. I got to start at the dinosaur park and I didn't get too wet...just my socks were wet.. We met Park for lunch afterwards at a Mexican restaurant.

VACATION TIME

      We went on a road trip to St. George with Uncle Parkie. He got to have a shopping experience with the big cart. Most people that saw us thought he was their young daddy. Haha. The whole experience was an adventure.

     Parkie had to take his MCAT down there, and we wanted a road trip. (Ty stayed home to work and install the wood floor in our bedroom- which was an awesome birthday present for me.)

      We stayed at St. George Inn and Suites for the first two nights, and we had most of the place to ourselves since it was the middle of the week. We ate at Applebees (which Jackie chose.) We swam, played at the playground, and went to a splash pad downtown. We ended the trip with a day of camping (which we planned on being two days, but one was plenty after Wessie kicked me all night.) It was an adventure and we had a fun time with Parkie.
